Community Alert – Overnight Suspicious  Activity

Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team is aware of reports of groups of youths in the area during the overnight hours trying car door handles and checking properties for insecure vehicles.

Please help reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crime by following these simple crime prevention measures:

If you have CCTV, doorbell camera, or dashcam footage showing anyone acting suspiciously or trying vehicle door handles overnight, please contact your local Neighbourhood Policing Team and share the footage. Your information could be crucial in identifying those responsible and preventing further offences.

If you witness a crime in progress or believe someone is attempting to gain entry to a vehicle or property, call 999 immediately. For non-emergency information or to report suspicious activity after the event, please use 101 or your local reporting channels.
